Do you want to make
changes in your life?
But not sure how to get there? Do you feel stuck in patterns of self-criticism, difficult relationships, or overwhelming emotions? My integrative approach focuses on nurturing your inner ‘grown-up’ – the part of you capable of thoughtful, balanced responses. Together, we'll work to quiet your inner critic, heal old emotional wounds, and build a stronger, more compassionate sense of self, empowering you to live a more choice-filled and fulfilling life.
My key aim is to help you experience more agency in your inner world: to notice, name, and relate to your feelings with greater understanding. By doing so, you can respond rather than react – developing more choice, self-trust, and flexibility in how you meet yourself and others.
Jack Homer
As a queer man, I have found validation, meaning and support in my own psychotherapy. I decided to train as a therapist myself at The Minster Centre in London, a rigorous and respected integrative psychotherapy and counselling training, where I continue to work towards my MA in Integrative Psychotherapy. I have professional experience as a teacher, mentor and chef. I pursue ongoing training, learning and personal growth as part of my commitment to the challenge and enjoyment of working with the complexity of the human psyche.
I have volunteered at The Listening Place in Kings Cross, offering face to face support to people experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings. I have facilitated weekly counselling sessions at the Body & Mind Centre in Brixton, supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ folks. I have been involved in the 12 step recovery fellowships for 8 years, with experience in AA, CA, SLAA, NA, and ACA.
I provide a supportive space where we can translate your challenges into meaning and help you move from feeling lost to living a life that is truly your own. ultimately to engage in your life with more meaning and vitality.
Therapy can be as challenging as it is rewarding. I will work alongside you with compassion and patience, creating a safe space where you can explore difficult feelings, perhaps for the first time. This process of rediscovering and making peace with disowned parts of yourself is a profound act of courage. Change becomes possible when we can first meet ourselves with acceptance.

I integrate therapeutic models from the following perspectives:
Relational & Psychodynamic: Exploring how early relationships and unconscious patterns influence your life today.
Embodied: Tuning into the body's wisdom, as emotions and experiences have a physical basis.
Humanistic: Honoring the unique person-to-person relationship we build in therapy.
I aim to adapt our sessions to your needs, validating your experience. Do you need to be given more space for things to surface? Or could a thoughtful question help you to get in touch with whats happening? I will check in with you, and invite you to be curious about our sessions as we work.
